Taffarel

Taffarel is a Brazilian former professional football goalkeeper who had a notable career in Europe and in his home country. He is best known for his spells with Parma in Italy and Galatasaray in Turkey, and for his long involvement with the Brazil national team. At Parma, he established himself during the early to mid-1990s and helped the club win the UEFA Cup in 1994–95. In 1998 he moved to Galatasaray, where he contributed to domestic success and to the club’s UEFA Cup victory in 2000–01.
