Taajuusleikkely
Taajuusleikkely, also known as frequency cutoff or filter cutoff, refers to the point in a frequency spectrum where a signal is attenuated or blocked. This concept is fundamental in signal processing and is implemented through various types of filters. A low-pass filter, for instance, allows frequencies below a certain cutoff frequency to pass through while attenuating those above it. Conversely, a high-pass filter allows frequencies above the cutoff to pass and attenuates those below. Band-pass filters have both a lower and an upper cutoff frequency, allowing only frequencies within a specific band to pass.
The specific value of the taajuusleikkely determines the range of frequencies that are affected by the filter.
