Szterikus
Szterikus is a term used in organic chemistry to describe the spatial arrangement of atoms in a molecule, specifically relating to the volume occupied by atoms and the repulsion between them. It is a form of steric hindrance, which refers to the slowing of chemical reactions due to the bulkiness of the substituents on reacting atoms. The term "szterikus" is often used interchangeably with "steric" in scientific literature, though it originates from the Hungarian word "szterikus," meaning "steric."
When atoms or groups of atoms in a molecule are close together, their electron clouds can repel
