Szkennelése

Szkennelése is a Hungarian term that translates to "scanning" or "scans" in English. It refers to the process of converting physical documents, images, or other analog information into a digital format. This is typically achieved using a scanner device, which captures an image of the original material and stores it as a digital file, such as a JPEG, PDF, or TIFF.

The purpose of szkennelése can vary widely. In an office environment, it might be used to digitize invoices, contracts, or other paper records for easier storage, retrieval, and sharing. In healthcare, medical images like X-rays or MRIs are often scanned to create digital records for patient files. Individuals may also perform szkennelése to digitize old photographs, important personal documents, or artwork.

The process of szkennelése involves placing the original item onto the scanner's glass surface or into an automatic document feeder. Software associated with the scanner then allows the user to select scan settings such as resolution (measured in dots per inch, or DPI), color mode (black and white, grayscale, or color), and file format.
