Suchindexierung refers to the process by which search engines like Google or Bing scan and organize information on the World Wide Web. When a search engine "crawls" the internet, it discovers web pages and follows links to find new content. This discovered content is then processed and stored in a massive database called an index. The index is essentially a catalog of web pages, much like the index at the back of a book, but on an unimaginably larger scale.
