Storstrømsbroen
Storstrømsbroen is a road and rail bridge in Denmark, spanning the Grønsund strait between the islands of Falster and Masnedø. It is a significant piece of infrastructure connecting the Zealand and Falster landmasses, facilitating traffic flow on the European route E47. The bridge was constructed between 1935 and 1937, replacing an earlier ferry connection. It comprises a railway track on the upper deck and a road on the lower deck. The design features a distinctive arch, a common architectural style for bridges of its era.
