Spårdrivna refers to a category of vehicles that operate on a fixed track or guideway. This term, of Swedish origin, encompasses a wide range of transportation systems. The most common examples are trains, trams, and subways, which rely on steel wheels running on steel rails for propulsion and guidance. These systems are characterized by their ability to carry large numbers of passengers or significant freight loads efficiently over established routes.
