Sprayedinjected

Sprayedinjected is a term used in engineering and materials science to describe processes that deliver materials through both spraying and injection, either sequentially or in combination. Because it is not a standardized term, its precise meaning depends on context, but it generally denotes a hybrid delivery method that relies on spray-generated droplets and a secondary injection step to introduce materials, energy, or reactants into a common zone.

In coatings and surface engineering, a sprayed precursor may be introduced as droplets and then further processed by injecting additives or energy to promote densification, bonding, or controlled deposition.

In additive manufacturing and materials synthesis, sprayed droplets can be directed into a melt pool, reaction chamber, or bonding region where they are injected or fused to build up material with improved uniformity or targeted microstructure.

In chemical or process engineering, spray-generated droplets may be combined with injected reagents or carriers to enhance mixing, reaction rates, or residence time within a reactor or chamber.
