Spermatideiksi
Spermatideiksi refers to the haploid cells produced during spermatogenesis, the process of sperm formation in males. These cells are the direct precursors to mature spermatozoa. Following meiosis I, diploid spermatocytes divide into two secondary spermatocytes, which then undergo meiosis II to produce four spermatids.
Spermatids are characterized by their small size and round shape. They contain a haploid set of chromosomes,
The transformation of a spermatid into a spermatozoon is known as spermiogenesis, a complex differentiation process.
