Sorbensystemen
Sorbensystemen, or sorbent systems, are technologies designed to remove specific substances from a fluid, typically a gas or liquid, by using a sorbent material. This process, known as sorption, involves the adhesion of molecules of one substance (the sorbate) onto the surface of another substance (the sorbent). Sorbents can be solid or liquid, and their effectiveness depends on their chemical and physical properties, as well as the nature of the substance being removed. Common sorbent materials include activated carbon, zeolites, and silica gel, each with different affinities for various contaminants.
The application of sorbent systems is widespread. In environmental protection, they are crucial for air purification,
