Soojusvaracharyar
Soojusvaracharyar, also known as Sri Vedanta Desika, was a prominent Sri Vaishnava theologian, philosopher, and poet who lived in the 13th and 14th centuries in South India. He was a disciple of Nadathur Ammal and a leading figure in the Vadakalai (northern tradition) of Sri Vaishnavism. Soojusvaracharyar is renowned for his vast body of work which spans across various disciplines, including philosophy, theology, logic, and literature.
His philosophical contributions are deeply rooted in Vishishtadvaita Vedanta, the qualified non-dualism philosophy propounded by Ramanujacharya.
