Solopartijen is a term used in card games, particularly in games like Euchre, to describe a situation where one player attempts to play all the remaining tricks in a hand. This is typically done by the player who believes they hold the strongest cards and can guarantee winning every trick. The success of a solopartij depends heavily on the player's ability to accurately assess their hand's strength and anticipate the opponents' moves.

In games where trump suits are involved, the player declaring a solopartij often chooses the trump suit themselves, or if it's a no-trump game, they rely solely on the strength of their high cards. If the player successfully wins all the tricks, they are usually awarded a significantly higher score than for a regular hand. However, if they fail to win all the tricks, the penalty is often severe, resulting in a substantial loss of points. This high-risk, high-reward nature makes the solopartij a dramatic and often decisive moment in a game. Opponents will try to break the solopartij by winning at least one trick, thus preventing the player from achieving their objective.
