Solidsided

Solidsided is a term used sporadically in informal discussions and some niche publications to describe objects or shapes characterized by uniform or solid side faces. There is no widely accepted formal definition in mathematics, design, or engineering, and the term does not appear as a standard entry in major reference works.

In geometry, some writers use solidsided to refer to polygons whose boundary consists of straight sides of equal length (equilateral polygons). Such shapes are not necessarily regular since their interior angles can vary. In computational geometry or puzzle contexts, solidsided may denote algorithms or puzzles that rely on equal-length edges for stability or symmetry.

In architecture or industrial design, solidsided might describe an aesthetic featuring continuous flat facets and solid, unbroken side surfaces, contributing to a monolithic or fortress-like appearance. Because the term lacks standardization, examples of solidsided usage are context-dependent and should be defined when used in formal writing.
