Skaryna
Skaryna refers to Francysk Skaryna, a Belarusian scholar and humanist of the Renaissance. Born in Polatsk in the late 15th century, he is widely recognized as the first Belarusian printer and a key figure in the development of Belarusian literature and language. Skaryna studied at the University of Krakow and later received a doctorate in medicine from the University of Padua.
