Sjællands

Sjællands is a Danish word and geographical term referring to the island of Zealand. Zealand is the largest island of Denmark, located in the western part of the Baltic Sea, separating it from the Kattegat strait. It is situated east of the island of Funen and south of the Swedish province of Scania. The island is home to the Danish capital, Copenhagen, which occupies a significant portion of its eastern coast.

The island is divided into several administrative regions, with the Capital Region of Denmark being the most prominent. Other areas include the Region Zealand (Sjælland Region) and parts of the Region of Southern Denmark. The highest point on the island is Kobberbakken, reaching 121 meters above sea level.
