Sitouttamisjärjestelmät, known in English as staking systems or staking mechanisms, are fundamental components in many blockchain networks, particularly those employing a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism. These systems allow participants to lock up a certain amount of a cryptocurrency to validate transactions and secure the network. In return for their participation and commitment, stakers are typically rewarded with more of the cryptocurrency.
