Silmad
Silmad are the Estonian word for eyes. As sensory organs, eyes are responsible for sight, allowing individuals to perceive light, color, and depth. The human eye is a complex biological structure that functions much like a camera. Light enters the eye through the cornea, a transparent outer layer, and then passes through the pupil, an opening in the iris. The iris, a colored muscular diaphragm, controls the size of the pupil, regulating the amount of light that enters.
