Shuhite

Shuhite is a term that refers to a follower of the Baháʼí Faith. The word "Shuhite" is derived from the Arabic word "Sháh," meaning king. It is used to signify a spiritual king or a follower of the spiritual king, Baháʼu'lláh, the Prophet-Founder of the Baháʼí Faith. The term is primarily used within Baháʼí communities and by Baháʼís themselves. It is not a term commonly recognized or used outside of Baháʼí circles.

The Baháʼí Faith originated in the mid-19th century in Persia. Its central tenets include the unity of God, the unity of religions, and the unity of humanity. Baháʼís believe that Baháʼu'lláh is the most recent divine messenger, building upon the revelations of past prophets such as Abraham, Moses, Buddha, Zoroaster, Christ, and Muhammad.
