Serrekundas

Serrekunda is the largest urban settlement in The Gambia, located in the Western Division. It is situated on the Atlantic coast, approximately 13 kilometers west of the capital city, Banjul. Serrekunda is a bustling commercial and residential center, known for its vibrant markets, diverse population, and growing economic activity.

The town is comprised of several interconnected villages and districts, including Latrikunda, Tallinding, and Abuko. Its economy is largely driven by trade, tourism, and small-scale manufacturing.
