Sensoritöötlus

Sensoritöötlus refers to the process of converting raw data from sensors into a format that can be understood and used by humans or other systems. Sensors are devices that detect and respond to some type of input from the physical environment, such as light, heat, motion, moisture, or pressure. The data generated by these sensors is often in a raw, analog form that needs to be processed and interpreted.

The first step in sensoritöötlus is usually data acquisition, where the raw sensor readings are collected. This data is then typically digitized if it is analog, using analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). Once in digital form, the data may undergo several stages of processing. This can include filtering to remove noise or irrelevant information, calibration to correct for sensor inaccuracies, and normalization to bring the data to a standard scale.

Further processing might involve feature extraction, where specific characteristics or patterns within the data are identified. For example, in an image sensor, features like edges or corners might be extracted. Algorithms are often employed for tasks like data fusion, combining information from multiple sensors to get a more comprehensive understanding of the environment. Finally, the processed data is presented in a usable format, which could be a visual display, a numerical value, or input for a control system or further analysis.
