Selvitysyhtiöt
Selvitysyhtiöt, often translated as "liquidation companies" or "winding-up companies," are entities established in Finland to manage and complete the liquidation process of a company. When a company is insolvent or decides to cease operations, a selvitysyhtiö is appointed to take over its assets and liabilities. The primary role of the selvitysyhtiö is to orderly sell off the company's assets, settle its debts with creditors, and distribute any remaining funds to shareholders.
The process is overseen by a liquidator, who is responsible for all aspects of the winding-up. This
