Scopul

Scopul is a Romanian noun meaning the goal, aim, or purpose of an action, plan, or policy. It denotes the intended outcome or end result that an activity is designed to achieve. The word is masculine, and in definite form it takes the suffix -ul, producing scopul for the singular. The plural forms are scopuri (indefinite) and scopurile (definite).

In usage, scopul appears in both everyday and formal contexts. Examples include: Acesta este scopul proiectului

Grammatical note: Romanian nouns with a definite article attached to the end behave similarly across many words.
