Scardriven
Scardriven is a term used to describe a type of propulsion system that utilizes the principles of magnetic levitation and magnetic repulsion to generate thrust. The concept is based on the idea that a magnetic field can be used to create a force that propels an object forward. This is achieved by creating a magnetic field between two or more magnets, with one magnet being stationary and the other moving. As the moving magnet moves through the magnetic field, it experiences a force that propels it forward. This force is generated by the interaction between the magnetic fields of the two magnets, and is known as the Lorentz force. Scardriven systems have the potential to be highly efficient and quiet, as they do not rely on combustion or mechanical parts to generate thrust. However, they are still in the experimental stage and have not yet been widely adopted for practical use.
