Sanngjörnri

Sanngjörnri is a marginal or obscure form that does not have widespread attestation in major Icelandic dictionaries or corpora. It is sometimes described as a possible comparative form of the Icelandic adjective sanngjarn, meaning fair or reasonable. If used in that sense, sanngjörnri would be interpreted as “more fair” or “more reasonable.” However, there is no consensus that sanngjörnri is a standard part of modern Icelandic, and many linguists regard it as nonstandard or dialectal.
