Sanitetstillåten

Sanitetstillåten refers to the Swedish government's allowance for special expenses related to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020, the Swedish parliament passed a set of extraordinary laws and regulations to assist individuals and companies affected by the pandemic.

The allowance, also known as "stöd för extraordinarie sanitära åtgärder," aimed to help individuals and businesses cover extra expenses incurred due to COVID-19. These expenses could include costs associated with pandemic-related measures, such as face masks, hand sanitizer, and staff isolation, as well as expenses related to working from home or remote working.

The Sanitetstillåten allowed for reimbursement of up to 80% of the extraordinary expenses, with a maximum of a certain amount per employee. The scheme was open to all companies and individuals in Sweden, and applications were processed through the Swedish Tax Agency.
