Sangho

Sangho is a variant spelling of Sango, the creole language spoken in the Central African Republic (CAR) and nearby regions. It developed as a lingua franca in multilingual communities, arising from contact between local Ngbandi-based language varieties and French. Today, Sango is used in daily conversation, broadcast media, education, and public life in CAR, and it has been promoted as a language of national identity.

Linguistically, Sango is generally described as a creole or pidgin that has become a widely used language
