Salastatult
Salastatult, also known as Salastatult Island, is a small, uninhabited island located in the Baltic Sea, approximately 10 kilometers off the coast of Estonia. The island is part of the larger archipelago of the Moonsund Archipelago, which is known for its diverse wildlife and scenic landscapes. Salastatult is characterized by its rocky terrain and is covered in dense forests, primarily consisting of pine and birch trees. The island is home to a variety of bird species, including seabirds such as gulls and puffins, as well as migratory birds that visit during the spring and autumn seasons. The island's remote location and natural beauty make it a popular destination for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts. Despite its uninhabited status, Salastatult is protected as part of the Moonsund National Park, which aims to preserve the region's unique ecosystems and cultural heritage. The island's isolation and lack of human interference contribute to its status as a valuable natural reserve, providing a habitat for numerous plant and animal species.
