Saavuttaen
Saavuttaen is a Finnish present adverbial participle of the verb saavuttaa (to achieve, reach). It forms a converb meaning roughly “achieving” or “by achieving” and is used to attach an attendant circumstance to the main clause without repeating a finite verb. The form is produced from the stem saavutta- with the suffix -en, giving saavuttaen.
