SNAREkompleksets is a term used in molecular biology to describe a group of proteins involved in vesicle fusion. These proteins are essential for the transport of molecules within cells and for the secretion of substances outside the cell. SNARE proteins are categorized into two main types: v-SNAREs (vesicle SNAREs) and t-SNAREs (target SNAREs). V-SNAREs are found on the membrane of vesicles, while t-SNAREs are located on the target membrane with which the vesicle will fuse.
