SLC1A

SLC1A refers to a family of solute carrier proteins involved in the transport of amino acids across cell membranes. These transporters play a crucial role in various physiological processes, including neurotransmission, nutrient uptake, and cellular metabolism. The SLC1A family comprises several members, each with distinct substrate specificities and tissue distributions.
