SLAMF2
SLAMF2, also known as Signaling Lymphocyte Activation Molecule Family Member 2, is a protein encoded by the SLAMF2 gene. It belongs to the SLAM (Signaling Lymphocyte Activation Molecule) family, which are cell surface receptors involved in immune cell interactions and signaling. SLAMF2 is primarily expressed on activated T cells, B cells, and some myeloid cells.
The SLAMF2 protein plays a role in modulating immune responses. It can interact with other SLAM family
Dysregulation of SLAMF2 has been implicated in certain autoimmune diseases and inflammatory conditions, highlighting its importance
