The EMD SD70AH is a six-axle, 4,300 horsepower (3,200 kW) diesel-electric locomotive built by Electro-Motive Diesel. It is an evolution of the SD70ACe model, featuring an increased tractive effort capability due to a heavier frame and longer wheelbase. This design allows for greater adhesion and therefore a higher starting and continuous tractive effort compared to its predecessor.
