Sünoviaalset refers to anything related to the synovium, a connective tissue membrane that lines the interior surface of certain joints. This membrane is crucial for joint health and function. The synovium produces synovial fluid, a viscous substance that lubricates the joints, reduces friction between the cartilage, and provides nutrients to the cartilage. This fluid also helps to absorb shock and keep the joint mobile.

Conditions affecting the synovium are often referred to as "sünoviaalset" conditions. These can include inflammation of the synovium, known as synovitis.
