Sæmundrs
Sæmundr is a figure primarily known from Old Norse sagas and legendary poetry. While his historical existence is debated, he is often associated with the compilation and preservation of early Norse literature, particularly the Poetic Edda. Sæmundr is traditionally identified as Sæmundr fróði (Sæmundr the Learned), a Norwegian clergyman who is said to have lived in the late 11th and early 12th centuries.
