Rényientropi

Rényientropi is a theoretical framework in information theory and complex systems that generalizes entropy by combining the ideas of Rényi entropy with temporal dynamics. Definition and mathematical form: For a discrete system with time-indexed probability distributions p(t) = (p1(t),...,pn(t)) and a sequence of nonnegative weights w(t) that sum to one, Rényientropi of order α>0, α≠1, is defined as H̃α = (1/(1−α)) log( ∑_{t} w(t) ∑_{i=1}^n p_i(t)^α ). In the unweighted, single-time case this reduces to the standard Rényi entropy Hα(p) = (1/(1−α)) log( ∑ p_i^α ).

Limit cases and properties: As α approaches 1, H̃α converges to the time-weighted Shannon entropy; as α approaches ∞, it tends to a weighted time-maximum probability (time-weighted min-entropy). The measure is nonnegative and behaves monotonically with α, consistent with the corresponding Rényi family. It remains invariant under relabeling of categories and is continuous in p(t).
