Rollbackia
Rollbackia is a genus of environmental bacteria described from freshwater sediment samples. The name Rollbackia derives from the locality of the first isolates, Rollback Bay, combined with the conventional genus ending -ia. The genus was proposed to accommodate several related bacteria that shared a distinct 16S rRNA gene sequence lineage and similar phenotypic traits.
