Returventiler

Returventiler, also known as return valves or check valves, are mechanical devices designed to allow fluid, such as water or gas, to flow in only one direction. They are crucial components in many plumbing, HVAC, and industrial systems to prevent backflow, which can cause damage, contamination, or inefficient operation.

The fundamental principle behind a returventil is a mechanism that opens under a specific pressure from the intended flow direction and automatically closes when the pressure drops or reverses.
