Restasis
Restasis is a prescription medication used to increase tear production in people whose eye dryness is caused by inflammation. Inflammation of the eye can reduce tear production. Restasis works by helping to increase the eye's natural ability to produce tears. It is a brand name for cyclosporine ophthalmic emulsion. The active ingredient, cyclosporine, is an immunosuppressant that helps to reduce inflammation.
