Reservlülitid

Reservlülitid, often translated as standby switches or reserve switches, are electrical components used to seamlessly transition a power supply to a backup source in the event of a primary power failure. They are crucial for maintaining uninterrupted operation of critical systems such as hospitals, data centers, and industrial facilities. The primary function of a reservlüliti is to detect a loss of the main power supply and automatically activate an alternative power source, like a generator or a battery backup system, without significant downtime.

These devices typically operate by monitoring the incoming voltage of the primary power source. When this voltage drops below a predefined threshold or is completely lost, the reservlüliti initiates a transfer sequence. This sequence first disconnects the load from the primary source and then connects it to the designated backup source.
