Refraktálódik

Refraktálódik is a Hungarian term that describes the process of refraction, specifically how light bends when it passes from one medium to another. This phenomenon is a fundamental concept in optics and is governed by Snell's Law, which relates the angles of incidence and refraction to the refractive indices of the two media.

When light encounters a boundary between two different materials, such as air and water, or glass and air, its speed changes. This change in speed causes the light rays to deviate from their original path. The amount of bending depends on the difference in refractive indices between the two media. A higher refractive index means light travels slower in that medium.

Refraction is responsible for many everyday optical phenomena.
