Reelfoot
Reelfoot is a region in the southern United States, primarily located in the Mississippi River Valley. It is named after the Reelfoot Lake, a large lake that was formed in 1811-1812 by a series of earthquakes known as the New Madrid earthquakes. The earthquakes were among the strongest in North American history, with an estimated magnitude of 7.7 on the Richter scale. The earthquakes caused significant damage to the region, including the formation of Reelfoot Lake and the Mississippi River's course being altered.
The Reelfoot region is characterized by its unique geology, which includes a series of faults and fractures
