Rechtfertigungsgründen
Rechtfertigungsgründe, or grounds for justification, are legal concepts that negate the wrongfulness of an act that would otherwise be considered unlawful. When a Rechtfertigungsgrund is present, an action that appears to violate a legal norm is deemed permissible and therefore not punishable. These grounds serve to balance competing interests and recognize that certain actions, though seemingly harmful, are necessary or justified under specific circumstances.
