Reaktorsäkerhetssystemet, often referred to as the safety system of a nuclear reactor, comprises a set of engineered safeguards designed to prevent or mitigate the consequences of accidents at a nuclear power plant. These systems are paramount to ensuring the safe operation of any nuclear facility and protecting both the public and the environment from potential radiation releases.
