Rahvusringhääling

Rahvusringhääling, officially Eesti Rahvusringhääling (ERR), is the national public broadcasting organization of Estonia. It operates as a public-service media outlet providing radio, television, and online services with the aim of informing, educating, and entertaining the Estonian public.

ERR traces its roots to the early days of Estonian broadcast media and functions as the main public broadcaster of the country. It is funded and overseen to ensure independence from political influence, and is governed by a supervisory body with a director-general at its head.

ERR runs several radio networks offering news, music, cultural programming, and diverse content; and it operates television channels that deliver news, entertainment, and cultural programming.

In addition to content in Estonian, ERR provides services in minority languages, notably Russian, and also offers English-language news and online resources to reach a broader audience.

ERR maintains an online presence with streaming, on-demand video, and news portals; it is a member of the European Broadcasting Union, and collaborates with other public broadcasters in Europe.
