Radboudissa
Radboudissa, also known as Radboudis, was a medieval Dutch saint and abbess. She was born in the early 12th century in the region of Gelderland, Netherlands. Radboudissa was the daughter of Count Radboud I of Holland and his wife, Gertrude of Saxe. She was raised in a pious environment and showed a strong interest in religious life from a young age.
Radboudissa was educated in the monastic tradition and was known for her piety, wisdom, and charitable works.
Radboudissa's leadership at Sint-Odiliënberg was marked by her commitment to the Rule of Saint Benedict and
Radboudissa died on 13 May 1158 and was buried in the church of Sint-Odiliënberg. Her feast day
