Rachunkowa

Rachunkowa is a Polish-language term that primarily functions as the feminine form of the adjective rachunkowy, meaning “relating to accounting” or “pertaining to accounts.” As an adjective, it describes things connected with bookkeeping, such as documents, processes, or departments (for example, dzial rachunkowy means accounting department).

In some contexts the suffix -owa can form a feminine noun indicating a person who performs the described activity; however, in contemporary standard Polish the usual term for a female accountant is księgowa. Therefore, rachunkowa as a stand-alone noun is uncommon in modern formal usage and may appear more in historical, dialectal, or informal speech.

The term does not designate a specific person, organization, or place in widely recognized reference works.
