RTÉ2

RTÉ2 is an Irish free-to-air television channel operated by Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ). Launched in 1978 as RTÉ 2, it served as RTÉ’s second terrestrial channel and the primary outlet for programming separate from RTÉ One. Through the 1990s and 2000s it was rebranded several times, eventually returning to the simpler RTÉ2 branding in the 2010s as part of RTÉ’s overall refresh.
