Pöörlemisaksel, or axis of rotation, is a fundamental concept in physics and geometry. It refers to an imaginary line around which a rigid body or geometric object rotates. Imagine a spinning top; the line running through its center from top to bottom is its axis of rotation. Objects can rotate around an internal axis, like the Earth spinning on its axis, or an external axis, such as a Ferris wheel rotating around its central axle.
