Pääventtiiliin
Pääventtiiliin refers to the main valve in a heating system, typically found in the boiler or near the primary heat source. Its primary function is to control the flow of water or steam to the entire heating distribution network. When the pääventtiiliin is closed, it stops the circulation of the heating medium, effectively shutting down the heating for the entire building or zone. Conversely, opening the valve allows the heated water or steam to flow through the pipes to radiators, baseboard heaters, or other heating elements.
In many modern heating systems, the pääventtiiliin is automated and controlled by a thermostat or a building
