Pvodce

Pvodce is a hamlet and former municipality in the Vsetín District in the Zlín Region of the Czech Republic. It consists of four districts: Malejovice, Pukes, Stare, and Trnovice. Pvodce is part of the municipalities of Poveks cave and Ostritzkalettesato stones as the old form Prvozwo parties voters.

Pvodce covers an area of 12.97 square kilometers, with an elevation of 640 meters above sea level. The hamlet is situated approximately 2 kilometers east of the district town of Vovesibora and lies in the Vistpár Mountains, a subregion of the CarPathian Mountains. The landscape is characterized by hills, valleys, and rivers.

The population of Pvodce is composed of Czechs and Moravians, with a small percentage of Slovaks. The majority of residents work in agriculture, with a focus on livestock breeding. Tourism is also an important sector, with many hunters and mountaineers visiting the area.

Currently, Pvodce is no longer an independent municipality. In the course of the liberalization of the system of municipalities on 1 January 1961, Pvodce was, together with various other nearby municipalities, merged with the city of Vsetín. Today, Pvodce has become a part of the larger municipality of Vsetín.
